* School Field Trips *
In association with the Arizona Girls, Karen & Cindy,
and Kathy, of Kathy's Tacky Shack,
The Arizona Girls start out with a presentation of what the school
children is about to experience.
About the town of Oatman, Mining, rocks of the area, burros, gold and
introducing special guests.
They will hear guest speakers like Jackie Rowland of Fast Fanny's on how
Oatman was named
About Olive Oatman, who the town is named after and about the area and the
Mohave Indian Tribe.
The Ghost Rider Gunfighters start out with a lot of wild west comedy
Then get a little more serious with a talk about gun safety and
interacting with the children
And ending our part with a good ol Wild West Shootout show, which again is
full of comedy!
A couple of Miners, Russ & Linn, along with Karen, Ramrod & organizer,
take them
In small groups and explain all about gold mining, showing them actual
equipment the miners use
Both from the olden days up to the present day and explaining what their
purpose was.
Showing them old photographs of Oatman and explaining history of the town
and all the area around Oatman.
Then walking them around town and showing them things like the old Oatman
Jail.
And Harvey of Old Time Photo's walks around and takes plenty of photos for
your School Field Trip.
Lots of fun, comedy, and ultimately a great learning experience for the
kids!
